As we draw nearer to the state election, politicians have their eye on the Hunter. The time is now to skill up and hit the campaign trail, to secure a prosperous future for the Hunter. Come along to our training session in beautiful Maitland to meet your team mates and learn about how we will secure a ‘Transition Authority’ for the Hunter. We’ll provide a fully catered lunch, and equip you with all the info you’ll need to confidently take the message out into our communities. Agenda:

1. Political and community state of play. Where are the parties/ public at in terms of support for a local transition authority? What are the objectives for this campaign?
2. Narrative and tools. What are our key messages and how do we plan to deliver them? What tactics are we using to win key political targets to our side?
3. Skill refresh. Top tips for campaigning in a meaningful way and getting genuine engagement from voters. Includes doorknocking demo.
